Becky Hull, I am singer songwriter originally from Entwistle, Alberta, Canada. I write a fresh mix of Classic Country-Blues & Rock, all in one. Currently, I am working on new material and writing every day. I have been through many things in my short life that have allowed me to write songs based on real life experiences as well as my imagination. My goal is to write songs people can relate to, based on the picture and feeling it creates. Musicians who inspire me are Miranda Lambert, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Bonnie Raitt, Dire Straits, Jewel, Tracy Chapman, and Johnny Cash.
I love to write songs that have feeling attached and leave you with something to think about afterwards. Some of my songs will catch you the first time around, and others become favorites as you continue listening. I am a real music lover and love to be on stage, doing what I love. My heart is healthy when I play music, and I believe it shows when I perform.
My other inspirations for music and writing come from my Mom and Dad, who love to sing and play any day of the week. We had a family band with my 3 older brothers for years and played at music festivals and many hometown events as well as good old campfire picking. I also play with my husband Kevin and my two daughters Zia and Pepper Ann. Aside from music, I love to Team Rope with my husband Kevin, and my family and love every minute of living on a small ranch way out in the boondocks with my family, my horses and my dogs.
